  3. When an LEA school becomes an academy, all its debts and deficits get cleared? – False

    What’s striking is the schools in the proposed group are some of the best-performing in the city – what actually would pupils gain from this significant structural change?
    PS I spotted a couple of typos on your home page – its Martin Straker-Welds; and ‘letter for governors of Affected schools’…
