If your school is facing cuts, think of where the money IS being spent. Over £1 million (excludes other running costs) was spent on start up grants to these two studio schools which have been unable to attract students and are closing over this holiday. If you are not angry you should be and your New Year’s Resolution should be bring back local authority oversight and planning for schools.

The Trust had 10 staff paid over £60k, according to 2015 a/cs and charged the 2 studio schools £80k for ‘services’.
